I entered Montgomery College in August of 1987 and was there through August 1989 and took the general courses that someone would need before transferring to a four-year school. At that time I did not know what my major would be. In September of 1989 I transferred to what was then called Salisbury State University (now known as Salisbury University) and went there for one year. Through academic difficulties I was asked not to return in the fall of 1990. I then re-enrolled at Montgomery College in the fall of 1990 and went there for two years to finish up my two-year degree so that I would have some sense of accomplishment both in my personal as well as professional life. I received my degree in General Studies or completed the requirements for it in December of 1992 and I did go back in the spring of 1996 and took another course. I would like to at some point get my four-year degree for my own personal gain and life accomplishment through the struggles that I went through to get there....
