Motorola?
* Designs digital integration test procedures from the "ground-up." * Performs digital integration tests between FRU's and investigates/repairs problems for current prototypes. The net result is that next generation designs will benefit from increased stability. * Lends a hand to other Motorola engineers with other various tests on WiMax hardware. * Aids with European RoHS compliancy standards on the hardware design of I/O boards. * Troubleshoot/puts back into working order, various site controllers (FRU's) for future testing/use. * Perform latest Gigabit Ethernet Compliancy Standard (IEEE 802.16e) testing on FRU boards in order for WiMax project to be IEEE compliant....

MOTOROLA INC, MANILA, PHILIPPINES 1997-1998 GRADUATE THESIS & INTERNSHIP, MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, RADIO NETWORK SOLUTIONS GROUP The 1997 Asian economic crisis and the threats from the new technologies perpetuated a need for a radio service, which would offer bundled services and at the same time be cost effective. * Formulated the entry strategy for the high-end radio trunking system (TETRA) in Philippines and proposed an optimized organizational structure to support launch to country and regional management. Re-engineered existing business processes, reducing work force by 40%.. MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, RADIO PRODUCT GROUP The project involved the launch of a 'family radio/ Short Range radio service' needing a 'retail approach'. This is in contrast to the business applications provided by the group. The launch took place in the first week of March'98. Integrally involved with the product development and marketing teams in Motorola, Singapore. * Devised a marketing plan for the 'Pacer' family of wireless transceivers; approved by management for the launch that resulted in commendation and additional project work....

Responsible for operating various high-speed placement machines that assemble printed circuit boards for various communication products. Train new staff in operation of production equipment. Prepare daily production reports. Assist technical staff in resolving equipment related issues. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. * Managed a diverse line of software and hardware development projects for over 5500 Wal-Mart stores and DCs. * Functioned as the primary liaison with the client while carrying full budget, schedule and technical performance responsibility. * Directed the $10 million-plus product launch of the MC50 mobile handheld unit in 2005, winning Wal-Mart's "Technology Leadership" award in 2006. * Initiated the 2007 launch of the new MC70 unit - delivering MS Pocket PC with VOIP, cellular, and IDEN technology. * Coordinated weekly meetings with vendor partners, offsite development teams, and various WM engineers for projects. * Acted as the primary lead for Motorola's international program with Wal-Mart. How would you describe what you did at
Motorola?
I'm responsible for reviewing customer requirements for new system features and developing 3rd level systems engineering requirements to be used by development and test organizations for these features. This work also involves handling capital expenditure estimates for assigned features as well as performing budgetary estimates for staffing requirements for these features. I also maintain all updates, handle change control, and perform preliminary testing of all Cisco router and switch configurations to support new features being implemented on Motorola's CDMA infrastructure. I also Track and drive to resolution all IP transport-related system requirement and Cisco device configuration issues affecting downstream development and testing prior to software release delivery. In addition I'm responsibile for Identifying and developing system requirements for new SNMP alerts and alarms for all of the Cisco devices in Motorola's CDMA infrastructure including MIB and trap analysis and alarm definition database work for SNMP management servers....
