How would you describe what you did at NDS?

Business planning including opportunity analysis, product marketing management and competitor assessments.
Business development, strategic partner management and new sales prospecting in emerging markets including IPTV, internet TV, interactive TV and mobile TV.
Commercial account management
for key new customers in emerging markets.
Direct regional marketing activities including marketing communications, PR, exhibitions and conferences.

Achievements:
Established UK-based global marketing operations, launched the world's first MPEG-2 video compression system, grew sales to $35M within 2 years.
Established a regional sales and marketing operation in the US leading to first year sales of $3.5M.
Implemented business development leading to successful first sales for NDS(US) including Cablevision (Cable), Tribune (Digital Terrestrial), Fox Television (Telco), iBlast (Datacasting), Oceanic Cable and Disney Channel (Interactive TV), Intelsat and Qwest (IPTV).
