Experiences at National Career Education

I learned how to do many laboratory skills such as drawing blood (venous and Capillary).I also learned how to perform urinalysis,CBC,specimen processing,hematocrit,bacterial cultures and blood typing.I am very eager to be employed honestly I'v had a hard time obtaining a postion based on limited experiance....

Learned all aspects of Medical Assisting both front and back office and learned how to be a phlebotomist.

I've been in school for 5 years now working on my Nursing Degree, and decided to do Phlebotomy in the meantime until I get my Nursing Degree.

My main reason was to finish my externship so I can receive my Phlebotomy Certification.

I was placed immediately at the hospital because I earned a perfect attendance and a 4.0 in school.

I miss working there period. I miss everything about it, too bad it was just an externship.

The Hospital I worked at was a very nice Hospital, We called it the Hospital of the rich and famous.

When I was drawing a 16 year old and she was looking away from the site, then she thought I was done and looked, she started yelling Mom the needle is in my arm, there is a needle in my arm. Teenagers emotions are so exaggerated.

I enjoyed the team that I worked with in the out-patient and the team I worked with in the hospital.
