How would you describe what you did at Nature Publishing Group?

* Coordinate the daily operations, database management and sales activities for a staff of twelve covering North, Central, South and Latin America.
* Use advanced MS Excel skills to design and develop reports that monitor sales activity and project future revenues.
* Assist with the design,
implementation and training of database and contact management systems.
* Negotiate language changes to License Agreements with all types of clients including foreign language translations for Latin American clients.

What's the secret to getting hired at Nature Publishing Group?

Determination. NPG places a lot of emphasis on in-depth interviewing that includes sales presentations, editing papers (for editorial positions), and even mini mock marketing campaigns. If you stick to it with that hiring manager, you will get in.
