How would you describe what you did at Network Appliance?

* Maintained an organized hiring process by scheduling phone interviews and on-site interviews (via Outlook Calendar) for approximately 20 managers in the Engineering Department.
* Supported 2 Sr. Recruiters with a total of 80 - 100 requisitions at all times
* Created offer letters for
prospective hires
* Conducted new hire orientation weekly along with the HR Director
* Sourced internet and our corporate database to find candidates to support our Engineering requisitions using Boolean searches, Monster and Aires
* Coordinated job fairs at colleges and other companies. Many job fairs were out of the state and involved using impeccable organization skills by setting up travel arrangements, coordinating delivery of all display equipment and maintaining schedules for the many job fairs to be attended. This resulted in many additional placements for our internship program.
* Served as a point of contact in the HR Department for employee's questions regarding benefits and employee relation issues

Responsible for overall network design and architecture, standards definition, strategic planning, and operational support for more than 1000 network devices in over 100 global sites with an annual communication budget of $10 million and a 21-person team. What are the three best things about working at Network Appliance?

The technology was great, and the commitment to making the best storage appliance in the world. The IT infastructure was second to none. Lastly, the Opportunity to just learn from all the incredibly smart people I was surrounded by really made me what I am today.
