Duties included, but were not limited to, collaborating with Special Education Teacher in all facets of academic and social learning strategies for children with special needs. Implementing an Individualized Educational Plan for children who require individual attention, helping children meet these goals and planning their daily activities. Provided academic support to children with varying emotional and physical handicap conditions. Helped provide social and academic adaptations according to the IEP for each individual student. Aided special needs students in a general education setting and adapted work to their ability while acting as a liaison between the Special Ed. and General Ed. Teachers.
