My responsibilities at the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study includes reporting to multiple deans and an Executive Assistant of Academic Affairs. Serve as liaison with deans to implement office policy and procedures with faculty, staff, students and other clients outside of the University. For instance, faculty may request funding for special projects. Administrators and staff may need approval for event payments such as speaker honorariums, venue and equipment rental, and catering. Students may submit petitions requesting approval to waiver a course requirement, drop or add a course beyond deadlines, and be reimbursed tuition. I also supervise student workers and secretarial staff who work on projects for the Dean's office. Projects such as mass mailings, data entry of student information and more. I am able to do my general office duties without having to be micro-managed and I meet deadlines....
