Experiences at New York and Company

At New York and Company my main duties were credit card sales, clothing sales, and cashier services.

I did a variety of work. But mainly I was on the sales floor helping customers find the correct sizes, or set up a fitting room for them. Other times I was on the cash register handling cash and credit cards.

Responsible for greeting customers, helping into fitting rooms, and checking out at the register. Opened and closed the store, counted out registers at end of night, and responsible for light cleaning and maintenance of store.

The secret to getting hired was honestly speaking out, giving an applicable answer to their questions during the interview. Let your personality shine!

Worked on register, properly kept assigned area clean and was given proper attention. received many regonitions in different departments. Was first Key Holder, placed in charge of Stock Room, checked in marketing inventory, and helped train.
