Experiences at Nokia

Worked on Application and Data Tier development, including support structures. Maintained and built a complex website including REST and Atom APIs. Highlights include:
- Primary service integration developer. Sole developer of core single-sign-on libraries (SAML and OAuth, for Web and API, respectively) in C# for integration with Nokia Account. Created tools for secure migration of member data between two disparate systems. Ensured and supported successful mission-critical integration of Share on Ovi with other Ovi-branded services.
- Engineered IP Detection Framework: developed scripts for automated periodic downloading of IP/Country data from NetAcuity servers, and programmatic crafting of data groups and TCL scripts onto F5 load balancers, for the purpose of injecting an HTTP header for countries of interest. Scripts written in Ruby, Perl, Bash, and TCL.
- Brought up a Hadoop (distributed map-reduce) cluster of multiple Linux machines and created scripts in Ruby for the distributed gathering, analysis, and subsequent reporting of Apache log file data (bandwidth, errors, referers, etc.) from media servers....

Title Marketing Manager
Oversee product positioning and competitive intelligence for numerous titles. Accountabilities include title-specific product packaging and websites, and evangelizing products to PR and sales. Worked closely with game producers, sales, PR and regional marketing groups.
- Played key role in the development of new processes for the Title Marketing team, including marketing planning methodologies. Revamped existing processes to increase the department's effectiveness.
- Revitalized the morale of the team by helping them understand the importance of their work.
- Selected to oversee critical negotiations with the US & European PGA Tour; re-started the stalled negotiations by building strong relationships, setting clear goals and keeping everyone on track.
- Created a comprehensive marketing plans for Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey, Pocket Kingdom, Mile High Pinball and other unannounced titles....
