2G, NORTEL NETWORKS & Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies Nortel Networks is building a new DSC1800/GPRS Network over the existing TDMA for the Trinidadian Operator TSTT. As RF-Optimization Senior Engineer role, my main tasks are as follows: ?? Supervise Carriers Waves Drive Testing ?? Responsible for creating and tuning Propagation models that fits the propagation characteristics in the defined radio environments ?? Initial cell plan in the RF propagation tool Planet using the design link budget in conjunction with the initial tuned models, height restrictions and other parameters ?? 2G, NORTEL NETWORKS, Cable and Wireless, Jamaica, West Indies As Senior RF Optimization Engineer, my task is to make a general study and audit on Cable and Wireless GSM Network for improving the KPI. The study includes new cell planning for densification purposes, BSS parameter modifications for solving optimization problems, Hardware modifications (as tilt, azimuth, antennas), Indoor Penetration Loss study including a validation on a new Link Budget and Path Balance. I'm also involved in a Biband Study 850/1900 MHz for the all Jamaica. (CW wants to use TDMA frequency Band for improving his 1900 MHz GSM Network) Planning tool is ASSET V4.2 from AIRCOM...
