How would you describe what you did at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems?

One key responsibility of my role initially was the re-design of the organization to deliver SAP. This included the identification of Training for long-term employees and then the best approach for the delivery of that training. Key to the success of this program was the "transition adoption" program for the NGMS employees and project team members which included Army resources, contractors, and others outside of the direct program.

The second key responsibility was to develop the methodology and structure of the program and ensure alignment with the Army CIO published methodology and Quality Assurance standards. This was a challenging processes to undertake as it required siginficant inputs from others within NGMS who were not aligned with the organizational change taking place for this program.

Finally the last key responsibility was to recruit SAP expert staff for the program into functional leadership roles. These roles were not contract or consulting roles but rather permanent staff who would take on the team leadership. The recruiting process was challenging for a number of reasons not least of which was the difference in pay for these highly skilled resources to go from consulting to permanent employees.
