I work to assess the vocational needs and abilities of adults with disabilities as well as placing them in jobs in the community. I also develop and strengthen hiring relationships with area businesses and assure that their staffing needs are met. Administrative and managerial functions of my job include: budget forecasting, billing, case management, private consulting leadership, and contract development....

I had a caseload of 18-25 adults with disabilities that I was contracted to find employment for. The position involved creating a network of employers that would find hiring a person with a disability valuable in their work place. This often translated in to doing research and learning about a companies operations and creating a hiring solution to a business problem. I regularly communicated with multiple stakeholders with competing demands(clients, government caseworkers, parent's of client, employers, residential staff of client, corporate HR arms)...
