Experiences at Office Depot

need to do well on the assessment

Putting up with my store manager. Made sure everything was just right, and just how and what she wanted it to be and look like. The most challenging thing is not arguing with her, when she's downgrading me infront of customers and associates.

Assisted with the cash register. Made copies, bound books/pamphlets together, restocked.

Willing to work as a team. Listening and answering all the customers questions and needs.

Team player, hard worker, always there to help, proficient technolgies.

It did not take me long to land the job. I was working for Builders Square at the time and saw the direction that company was going. I was not happy and need a change. I went on line to look for a job and noticed Office Depot. I applied and did a phone interviewed with the Human Resource Manager then she set me up with th district manager. I interviewed with the district manager he was pleased with my experience. 3 days later they called and want me to interview with their Regional Vice President.They flew me out to Baltimore for this interview. Two days after this interview they made me an offer....

I just went to Office Depot and applied and got an interview and was hired within a week

Stock work, both front and back stock, making sure everything was neat and orderly and easy for the customer to find what they were looking for

Being positive in the interview, and being realistic in your strengths and weaknesses as a retail associate

The best thing about working at Office Depot was the interaction with the customers. I enjoyed helping them find a solution to their problems and recommending different merchandise for their projects.
