Government contractor for the State Department International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, assigned to work with the Haiti contract (awarded 2004). Responsible for working independently and exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operated as desk officer for Deputy Program Manager in Haiti for all pay, administrative, and project management issues. - Assisted in the development and implementation of proposals along with bid comparisons prior to submission to Department of State for funding. - Created purchase orders and submitted them to vendors. - Developed and maintained purchase order ledgers so tracking of various purchase orders was organized. - Worked closely with the accounting department to ensure proper coding on purchase orders and thus guarantee proper customer billing. - Performed verifications of employment and reference checks as well as other necessary in-processing for Haiti mission. - Coordinated with United Nations and Department of State in the deployment of candidates; this includes ensuring candidates had documents needed to deploy and arranging airfare....
