This is an outsource company and strong PM skills are a must.

Managed crew of 46 techs to do UMTS (3G) installations for Cingular in N.Cal. I was responsible for P&L, schedules, budgets, and maintaining margins.

*Prepared structural drawings and calculations for expansion of Bakersfield wastewater treatment plant (16MGD to 32MGD), CA and Tulare industrial wastewater treatment plant (12MGD), CA. Structures designed for wastewater treatment plants included concrete water tanks (circular tanks with circular domes supported by pre-stressed beams and rectangular tanks), buildings (steel concrete & masonry) and vaults. Analysis & design of water bearing structures were done using per ACI-318, ACI-350 & ACI 350.3.
*Responsible for preparation and review of specifications and material take off.
*Developed templates of MATHCAD files for analysis and design for various conditions incorporating provisions of ACI-318, ACI-350, ACI 350.3 & 2001 CBC....

My workspace is a 8 x 10 cubicle decorated with picturesque flowers, butterflies, babies, family and plants to creat a serene environment while working with a wild group of talented people.

Lunches are like ice cream flavors. So much to choose from high end restaurant to sandwhich shops but most of all when all else fails we have our own cafeteria in case of a rainy day.

Work with great people, ping pong table outside patio, walking distance to Old Town Pasadena, lots of pot lucks and birthday celebrations.

If you are local I will bring you in and have you meet a future peer, supervisor, a couple project managers, and our regional director. To save time sometimes we will do panel interviews, but I prefer one to one talks. Now if we are talking about a job overseas it will be one or two phone screens with our people on the project....

A friend referred me. It's about networking son. Networking I say.

It is an open space with lots of light that allows for collaboration and team unity, decorated in a Bauhaus style. Ok I am in a cube, a rather drab cube.
