What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan?

The most challenging aspect of my experience with the Peace Corp was working in a volatile foreign environment and retaining focus on the tasks I was charged with despite political and social upheaval.

How would you describe what you did at Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan?

As a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan, I taught English to secondary school students. Because I had few available resources, this included developing all lesson plans, teaching tools, and tests from scratch. I was also responsible for the development of after-school programs, including several English-language clubs, a writing club, a dance club, and a movie club.
