Researching Societal Deviance from the Norms. The purpose was to identify deviant behavior among a subset population group. After identification, there was a several-month period of collecting documentation (photographs, transcriptions, publicly available police reports, personal observations, interviews, etc.) on that particular population, then compounding the information to interpret statistically why such behavior occurs, what affected the behavior and, consequently, the effects of said behavior. Societal consequences for deviating from the norm....

In college, I would have to say the thing that I learned, that has helped me along my road to the present is this: I learned HOW to learn.

When I was there the computer science department was very underfunded and the professors had offices in trailers. The networking lab was a small room in one of the trailers. It has wires everywhere; it was an accident waiting to happen. Fortunately, the professors made the best of it and were a great help and always made themselves available....
