How would you describe what you did at Philips Advance Transformer?

Manufacturing & Projects Engineer.
*Develop, design and implement new and improved processes, equipment and systems for manufacturing.
*Assess the Capital Equipment needs of the Plants being supported.
*Prepare specifications, obtain quotations, prepare schedules, prepare AR's and requests
for funds. Prepare timely progress reports.
*Provide operating and maintenance instruction, spare parts list and consulting services on training and operation of special equipment.
*Direct project activities with Engineering, the Plants, and other functions to assure optimum manufacturability and cost.
*Provide technical support and consulting services to the Plants and the business as directed.
*Actively search for new manufacturing technologies and aggressively evaluate and report on all manufacturing opportunities, which will contribute to the business objectives and goals.
*Projects assigned will include those requiring leading edge technology, research analysis, and processing expertise requiring a high level of technical competence and experience.
*Control project costs within project appropriation limits.
*Perform project installation and system break-in at plant sites.
*Maintain good communications between plant personnel and Boscobel & Rosemont Engineering personnel to insure completed projects meet or exceed plant requirements.
