How would you describe what you did at Photocircuits?

I managed the activities of various departments ranging from 10 to 48 employees, many different machines and processes and from one shift to all three shifts. I held positions including manufacturing, verification and quality.

How would you describe what you did at Photocircuits?

Cross-trained as Quality and Materials Lab Technician. Performed introductory materials testing on fiberglass and copper materials including pressure, peel strength, glass temperature (Tg) using a Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer, and solderability testing. Cut and inspected coupons from circuit boards for cross-sectioning using routers and grinders that would be sent out to customers (i.e. Lockheed Martin, Tyco) for physical failures. Discussed any failures on boards with supervisors, Review Board of the company, and the customers. Performed basic electrical and pulse testing. Taught engineers how to pre-inspect coupons of circuit boards and look for physical ailments that could lead to future problems with circuit boards.... read more
