Keeping up with everything that's going on in public health - locally, nationally, even internationally - because we have that type of audience here and if it's happening somewhere in the world, I am likely to get a media inquiry about it. There's nothing worse than receiving a media call about an issue and being clueless about it!...

I write press releases - both for proactive purposes and to alert the public to public health risks. I talk to the media almost daily. I do quite a bit of in-house training. Standard PR stuff such as creating newsletters and reviewing publications before they go to print. It's a good job.
