Production Manager * Oversaw entire production department for independent production company working on an average of 7 continuously airing shows. Department consisted of 11 full-time employees (scriptwriters, PR, production coordinators, media coordinators, editors and videographers) plus freelance editors and interns. * Acted as main contact for each client from the beginning of the production process until all airings were completed. Explained procedures and policies and oversaw each segment's satisfactory completion. * Worked with every member of the department to keep production numbers up. * Worked in conjunction with upper management to revise and implement company policies in order to increase department morale and productivity. * Actively recruited new members for company's Advisory Board.
Production Coordinator * Coordinated entire pre-production process for an average of 20 segments per month (5-7 minutes TRT each) * Continuously updated database of all communications between myself and featured guests or freelance crews using ACT. * Worked with featured guest to secure locations, and create shooting schedule. * Contracted freelance crews, acquired permits and made all travel arrangements for in-house crew. * Served as liaison between production and post-production departments. * Reviewed all footage from freelance crews for quality and accuracy (paper-edit). Submitted freelance invoices to accounting and mailed out respective payments. * Conducted the translation to Spanish of various documents, as well as voice-overs and full length scripts....
