What's the funniest thing that ever happened to you at Pop Rocket 66?

We have a contest in the shop called "Oddest Customer Request/Comment". I think the best one for me so is, (said in a very loud, somewhat crazy voice) "WHERE CAN I BUY A HANDGUN?".

What are the five best things you can walk to from Pop Rocket 66?

Since Pop Rocket 66 is located in downtown, I can walk to just about anywhere worth walking to whether food, art, or other shops. It is a great place to be and a great place to own a business. My favorites are Pay n' Take for snacks, Zani's (to visit fellow shop owners), The Diner for lunch, Late for the Train for a happy hour espresso and finally Ulibarri's for a trim.... read more

How did you find your job at Pop Rocket 66?

Well, I work for myself. I run a small pop culture gift shop. The idea for this shop has just kind of formed itself. Opening a shop can be both very planned and very organic. In the end, it is a very exciting experience.
