Experiences at Quizno's Subs

A customer came in and ordered a certain sandwich with bacon and I wasn't told that we no longer used the bacon strips, the brisket that we used looked just like bacon, so I put that on the sandwich without knowing and gave it to the customer. I didn't find out till after the customer left what I had done. I was the joke of that place till I left....

The most challenging aspect of that job for me was having to work with the new people and train them on how to open or close the store correctly. For the most part, I loved that job, but to take care of a family, that amount of pay just wasn't enough for me.

I enjoyed the work I did. The only thing I didn't like was the pay. I enjoyed the people that I worked with, the manager was great. I had to take orders from customers, make sandwiches, run the cash register, clean, stock chips and pop, wash dishes. I had to use a meat slicer about three times or more a week to slice cheese and meats for the sandwiches and pre-weights. I had to make sure the kid meal bags were made and had everything, make sure enough sacks were made up with napkins to at least get through rush....

Honesty. The key is to be honest with the hiring manager. Answer the questions they ask with honesty and follow rules. Dress appropriately for a job interview.

I took orders, made sanwiches, delt with customers, money handling, cleaning, dishes, opened and closed the store, sliced meats and cheeses often, and very light paperwork.

Opening and closing the resturaunt, Cleaning, Stocking, Food Prep, Register, Customer Service.

I Made Sure every one Was on task. Had alot of check list Mostly temperature and stock. When need (always) I Did wrapping table where i would finish the sub and wrap it and i also ran the register.
