How would you describe what you did at
Qwest Wireless?
I would say that I assisted in the day to day operations of the store. Whether it was implementing a design from a planogram to opening and closing the store and the registers. A typical day in my job was selling DirecTV, Verizon and Sprint Cellular services, high speed internet, and home phone services. I think that as a consumer myself I try to understand what the customers are looking for in a service provider. Customers are looking for services that they can afford and works for them. I sincerely try to sell to their needs, and not to mine. That's what made most of them come back asking for me when they wanted to upgrade to start a new service. I came to know many of them by name. I never put my interest or the thought of what I would get on my commission check. The commission came later and I always seem to have done well. I also helped trained new employees and coached them on how to be successful in a commissioned retail enviroment. There is always something different to do, but we do laugh and have fun too....
