What advice would you give to a new employee at RESPOND?

Be a strong advocate for the women you work with, ask many questions, utilize supervision to its fullest, be open minded, do your best possible each and every day, and advocate for yourself.

1. Flexible summer hours. 2. Staff appreciation and pampering days. 3. Possible flex time and schedules. 4. Family centered and supportive work environment. 5. Consistent weekly supervision; clinical supervision when requested or as necessary.

What are the five best things you can walk to from RESPOND?

We are a confidential location, so we cannot disclose. BUT, there is available parking and we are T accessible. We are within easy access to many restaurants, shops, and social service agencies.

What's a typical day like at RESPOND?

No two days are ever the same! Things are usually pretty fast paced with a focus on the women we serve. One moment you may be answering an intense hotline call, the next you may be greeting a donor making a donation. No matter what, it is highly rewarding work, as we are actively making a difference in individual lives.... read more

What's your workspace like at RESPOND?

Advocates share a large office space. Presently, advocates have chosen not to have cubicles, but they are available if one would so prefer. Senior management have their own offices.
