Experiences at RR Donnelley

The most challenging aspects of my job at RR Donnelley is the ability to constantly perform under pressure. My shift starts in the evening, so when I arrive, there is work from the previous shift, new work and rework from Press Operators. From this experience, I have learned to manage my time wisely and to stay focus on creating quality work with no mistakes. Eventhough to others my job as a Pre-Press Operator may seem as the work is easy, it is not. Files received from FTP or Fetch sites can often have fonts issues and corrupt images. My daily challenge is to output proofs for customers and setup files for output to press....

Vendor Management, contract negotiation & fulfillment related to printing and End to end customer relationship management (CRM) and delivery of custom print press products from multiple production sites for large accounts including: Sprint, SBC (Southwestern Bell), Yellow Book, Verizon, Met Life, Merrill Lynch, World Book Encyclopedia and Time Inc.
