How would you describe what you did at Raytech Automotive?

Held several positions with Raytech, advancing from floor inspector to interim plant manager. As an inspector, I verified that products met customer requirements and processes ran within statistical process limits. As a layout tech and Quality Engineer, I completed anual product layouts to blueprint specifications and verified that all engineering standards were met. Coordinated PPAP & APQP activities. Participated in third party and internal audits. Trained as and worked on six sigma black belt project. Quality Manager duties included, over seeing all quality department funtions. Directing and supervising floor inspectors, receiving inspector and layout tech. Worked with suppliers and customers on corrective actions, problem solving and new product launch. As Raytech's interim plant manager, I worked with the corp project manager, customers and recieving plant manager on the closing of the Sterling Heights facility. I was responsible for building a bridging inventory while maintaining current customer daily requirements. Implemented and tracked employee incentive plans.... read more
