How would you describe what you did at Revelations Training?

I'd describe it as running a marathon at a sprinter's pace. In startup mode, there's no convenience of boredom, over staffing, or excessive funding. My job has split 4 times as I've taken on new responsibilities and tasks. I play a pivotal role in product development, branding, resource management, and employee development. It is commonplace to find me behind the camera shooting, in front of the camera acting, behind my computer editing and writing, in front of my computer putting for 5 minutes, in the production area with my team, in the owner's office talking strategy, and sleeping in bed pretty well at night.... read more

What's the secret to getting hired at Revelations Training?

Well, you have to be a little bit crazy, because I have to be the one that hires you. That aside, be prepared with a good demo reel, a testimony of strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and for crying out loud... don't take yourself too seriously.

How would you describe what you did at Revelations Training?

Ummm...pretty much everything. I was the first person hired outside of owner (we now have 8 after 24 months). I am Mr. 9-1-1 in addition to heading up the video production / creative department. I am responsible for client relations (development, filming, admin), hiring and training production staff, maintaining product quality, innovating the product, laying out our new website & database along with it's functionality, traveling to film content on location, vendor relations, and anything else that proceeds, "I don't know, ask Justin."... read more
