The People, the Culture, the location. You must like snow in the winter, great cross country trails and the summers are loaded with just about everything. Biking, fishing, camping, music festivals, & sailing. Great winds for sailing on Lake Michigan, two great yacht clubs. A wonderful place to raise a family....
