* Trimmed costs associated with support and bandwidth by $1 million annually by establishing a comprehensive system, consisting of 1000 user telecommuting and remote office systems, to support 30 branch offices via frame relay, modems, ISDN and Citrix servers.
* Introduced numerous cost saving strategies including slashing dial-in costs by 80% through the implementation of DSL services and replacing old system with a Citrix server farm.
* Enhanced network asset tracking and reporting for Sallie Mae and led a staff of 6 during the development and configuration of the asset management system.
* Assessed new systems from acquired subsidiaries and integrated technologies into Sallie Mae's existing network infrastructure.
* Worked with upper level management in determining the budget and allocating funds for the move to new corporate headquarters, which included an in service data center relocation.
* Partnered with members of a design and implementation unit to incorporate WAN/LAN infrastructures and integrate existing networks to support the company-wide imaging system....
