Experiences at SUNY Potsdam

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Majors in Anthropology and Archaeology and minors in Museum Studies and Biological Anthropology. I was in the school's honors program and the Anthropology Honors Society.

As part of my Museum Studies minor I designed, researched, wrote labels for, and installed an exhibit about Buddhist material culture for the college's Weaver museum.

For the Archaeology major I attended field school at Montpelier , VA where I: excavated behind the Gilmore Cabin, home of a former slave, to search for artifacts of daily life particularly seed beads in creation of jewelry as well as features, water screened and sorted artifacts and architectural materials in the laboratory for analysis...

I specialize in the graphic arts and researching art history, as well as studying various areas of communication (family, professional, etc.).

Earned a NYS Teachers License, took mnay graduate credits in Music History and Literature. Performances, Lessons, Arranging, Composition, etc.

While attending SUNY Potsdam, I developed the skills necessary to communicate effectively and with confidence, to write with precision, and to edit my work thoroughly.

Above all, I know I have the ability to persevere through adversity and acquire the skills necessary to succeed.
