While at Saint Francis University, I maintained a 3.9 GPA overall with a 4.0 in my major. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2006 after having won the History Departmental award for overall academic excellence as well as the Margret M. Tobin award for best Research. The Tobin award winner was chosen by a panel of judges who read papers and research nominated by any professor on campus. All Seniors were eligible. I was a member and president of the History club which instituded a local program known as History Day, where Saint Francis Students travelled to local high schools to present interesting and innovative lessons about history to high school students. I was also a member of the Education and History Honor Socities known as Kappa Delta Pi and Phi Alpha Theta respectivley....
