* Create, implement, and manage strategic marketing plans, product launches, programs and promotions in the retail sales channel for consumer rechargeable battery products. Channel management includes big box and specialty retailers. * Manage daily advertising and promotional activities through advertising/public relations agency. Also responsible for selection of new advertising/public relations agency for 2007. * Create effective sales tools and sales training to promote GE/Sanyo Brand(s). Includes insuring that sales' needs are met in a timely manner. * Create and manage internal marketing communications programs. Includes communication with corporate in Japan and Sanyo North America. * Manage trade show participation. Includes coordination of annual CES show and regional shows for retail and solar division. * Responsible for multimillion dollar advertising and marketing budget....
