What's the interview process like at Sapient?

Several interview stages, although I'm sure it varies some. Mine included a phone interview, a test project, and an in-person interview over several hours with multiple managers, and a final interview with the head guy of our business unit. I went a little overboard (as I have a tendency to do...) in preparing-- for my test project, I spent 20+ hours one weekend reading blogs of a manager at the company and doing research on their website and google. For my in-person interviews, I created a portfolio showcasing some of my various strengths and creativities-- poetry, personal excel budget documents I created, innovative ideas from my tenure at Martin & Associates, etc.

I have a tendency to go a little nutso extreme in whatever I'm doing if I'm excited about it...

Pretty casual-- jeans or khakis and button-up shirts or sweaters.

How did you find your job at Sapient?

I decided I was ready to move on from circle.com and Boston, and happened to know someone at Sapient. HR called right away, and I completed the hiring proces in a few days.

What's one of the projects you worked on at Sapient?

Launching EXPN.com ... which focuses on action sports (aka stuff you see at the X-Games).

As part of the research for the site, we visited skateparks in Mountain View and interviewed a bunch of the skaterats.
