Experiences at Selesta SpA

Selesta S.p.A. is one of the Italian successes, playing a major role in the world of Information Technology, Selesta is an enterprise software solutions provider/distributor in the Italian IT marketplace, with over 200 major clients such as Fiat, Banca Intesa, Banca Popolare di Milano, Telecom Italia, BNL, IMI Group, Assicurazioni Generali, INPS and Banca Italia.

Currently, the company is subdivided into Business Units: ApplicationS, where I worked It Service Governance, informatica and Key Accounts, and made up of joint-stock companies like: Selesta Security Systems and Selesta Ars. Selesta S.p.A. stands out on the IT market for its ability to understand the specific evolving needs of its clients and to propose technologies, solutions and innovative and leading edge projects with the uniqueness of "dedication" with the certainty of reaching the objectives set.

Selesta S.p.A. operates in Italy from the head office in Genoa and the offices of Milan, Rome, Turin and Vicenza. At the international level the branch offices are: Madrid, Lisbon and Paris.

I worked in the "ApplicationS B.U." we distribute the following Solutions: Serena Software (lifecycle management), Cast Software (Application Governance) , Webmethods (BPM), Jacada, Neon (EAI) and Information Builder (BI).

I joined Selesta in April 2005 as senior account manager. My responsibility were to cover North West territory with a specific focus on the big clients like SanPaolo Group, Intesa Group, Banca Popolare di Milano, SAI Insurance, FIAT, IVECO ecc....
