Experiences at Self- Employed

You have to be self-motivated, a self-starter. For this is not a hourly job, where you get a paycheck with and every week or two weeks. Being Self-Employed, you have to get out there in the world, and make a place for you and your business. You have to put own self forward, each and EVERY day to make a income for you. If you don't get out there and hustle, well then plain and simple, you don't eat, have bills paid, or even a place to live and a car to drive....

I would throw the newspaper to the customer 7 days a week about 3am. I would also advertise to new customers and manage the current customers accounts. I would also have to send out bills to the customers and collect payments.

I asked other parents if they would like to organize a writing and ASL class.

I was self-employed and taught home-schooled teens ASL, essay writing, creative writing and poetry.
