I worked as a cashier on a cash register

I helped customers get the meat and cheese that they wanted and sliced it the way they wanted.

go into the store with an open mind. i went in to fill out an application and actually got a sit down interview right away and had no preference as to where i worked in the store and i was hired on the spot.

on a daily basis i would come into work and prep all the necessary things for the next day while waiting on customers. prepared rotisserie chickens, fried chicken, pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches about every two hours. normally would come into work and clean up after the day shift and then clean up after myself and my colleagues. every night i would change the frying filters. every week i would empty the grease from all of the fryers and refill them.
on top of all of these duties i would also run the cash register....

Sliced meats/cheeses, maintained deli areas, performed closing duties
