How would you describe what you did at Simon & Schuster?

This was my initial introduction to the world of publishing and I fell in love!! I was the assistant to the Marketing Manager of the Simon & Schuster print, and participated in executing the various marketing plans for the titles. This included creating mailings, compiling contact lists, responding to queries about the titles. The free books that I took home by the arm loads...hanging out with Pamela Anderson at her book signing...working at Rick "the nature boy" Flair's booksigning in Times Square and managing his fans that circled the city block...
