How would you describe what you did at Special Court for Sierra Leone?

Generally, I provided general first line AV/IT support for the court. Prepared equipment for audio and video recording of court sessions. Provided first line troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of AV and IT equipment. Part of a team supporting users for over 250 computers,
solving problems
daily for a variety of issues from printer problems, network and computer access, user account and email software problems.
Solved software issues related to Windows XP and Microsoft office application software, multimedia and recording software. Resolved Lotus Notes groupware issues. Repaired, installed and replaced computers, performing both hardware and software repairs. Resolved issues relating to Anti virus software installation and updates across the network. Continuously updated my knowledge of IT and AV through issues encountered. Acquired knowledge in skill areas exhibited by other team members.

What's the secret to getting hired at Special Court for Sierra Leone?

Be willing to work with people of all nationalities, and cultural backgroungs. Be an effective communicator in English. You must be able to clearly and positivlely express yourself. Flexibility in work times and methods of problem solving is important. Be ready and able always to "think on you feet" and "outside the box".
