Experiences at Sporty Cuts Hair Salon

It was a day when a stylist called in sick and had a full schedule, we needed to either work in or reschedule.
We all were busy with our own clients and some of the (sick stylist's) clients needed to get in.
I felt if I explained the situation to our own clients and the ones who needed to get done that day we could work out a happy ending.
Of course it was busy, busy...and with honesty and staying calm we were able to get everyone done....

To make everyone happy. In the real world you can't make everyone happy.
What you can do, is identify their concerns, listen with care and work on a solution that will make them feel good.
At times talking all day can be mundane. I always gave my last client the same 100% that I gave my first client of the day. If you talk more about them and ask questions you will always learn something new....

It never felt like it was work because I got to be with people (team work) and clients all day. I did something that made people feel good. I listened to their concerns and worked on solutions for them.
I would say to sum it all together, to best describe it would be to say even though days could get stressful I felt satisfied that I made a difference in someone's life....

You must have excellence in customer service and communication skills.
You should be willing to go above and beyond for your clients.
You must be honest, dependable and reliable.
