Experiences at Spruce St. Secure Crisis Residential Center

Worked to create a favorable group climate for the emotional nurturance and healthy development of runaway and at-risk youth. Responsibilities included providing supervision and assessment, counseling youth, communicating with families potentially in crisis, coordinating with caseworkers toward an Individual Reunification Plan, crisis intervention and de-escalation, providing written documentation of interactions, attending relevant trainings, and facility maintenance. Supervised and trained Residential Counselors on my shift and helped organize staff trainings. Recognized multiple times for outstanding performance, contributions, and leadership.
