What did you learn along the way at Staples?I learned that you need to be willing to accept change. My job was Operations Manager but I learned that included a lot of other jobs.

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Staples?Taking care of an angry customer over a laptop that they had bought which was out of warrenty. I was able to calm the customer down and we worked out the problem. He wanted a full refund back which I couldn't do but I worked with the customer and had one of my Technicians take a look at his ...

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Staples?Staffing was the most challenging. We needed to get qualified people in that enjoyed the job. Many were part-time students that needed to work around the school schedules. We were very accomodating but it was sometimes hard to get all the hours covered with the proper associates.

How would you describe what you did at Staples?I had a variety of duties at Staples. That's what I enjoyed there. I was the Office Manager and Human Resource Director. I did all the filing, hiring, training, orientation for all the new hires. I was in charge of all the training about new products or policies that came out. It was my job ...

What's the secret to getting hired at Staples?Interesting!!! I kearned a lot of work the date I was hired. Such as takig off teachers acct, discount for rewards, what gets a adomatic disount on the register.

How would you describe what you did at Staples?I was a sales manager with Staples, Took my team of sales associates and showed them how to succed and stay on top. Was always ranked in the top 10 chain wide when dealing with measurables and sales execution.
