How would you describe what you did at Starbucks Coffee Company?

I already knew how important great customer service means to customers, but Starbucks means the third place for customers. First is home, second is workplace, third is Starbucks. Customers are very faithful to the brand.

Because of my store's location, I frequently have to help customers who don't speak or understand much English, which is the only language I know. It's important to me to deliver the same quality of service to these customers as to others, but I sometimes feel overwhelmed when I can't comprehend a customer's request. What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Starbucks Coffee Company?

Dealing with an employee who was continually trying to manipulate any activity to their control, as well as continually challenging the attendance policies. This was a person who was disrespectful towards any and all rules, lacked maturity, and conveyed a superior attitude towards others, often trying to change the course of discussions and planning to get things their way. What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Starbucks Coffee Company?

Communicating with people who have little understanding of design and the importance of keeping up quality of the variety of materials, equipment and furniture. I often played the role of educator and tried to instill a sense of pride and responsibility to the store employees in maintaining the elements they are given.

Also challenging was the up front work to develop, design, and get sites approved by landlords.
