Experiences at Subway (restaurant)

You need to be focused and organized. You have show that you have good hygiene as well as people skills. You must be able to work quickly and efficiently. It is also helpful if you have a bubbly personality:)

1. You should do "whatever it takes" to learn how everything is made & to memorize (everything) before doing an application. Ask an employee what "main ingrediants" are used in a _____ ? sub. Ask them for a copy of the cheet sheet they use to measure food Example: 5 oz of lettuce OR 2 pieces of bacon if you make a ?? sub.
2. Be a clean "junkie"
3. Go to www.subway.com & study the material. Look to see how you can answer (any given)question. See how you can use the information to ask questions(good or bad) in an interview.(don't be afraid to take printed material from site & your notes with you to interview & just say that you are sorry but you are nervouse.
4. Choose (1-2 stores in a small area-----5 in huge cities) to go into the subway that you may want to work in & get WELL KNOWN & LOVED BY ALL!!!!!
5. Let them get to know you (keep negative thoughts/situations away when you do this) It would be great to "buy food or drink" a time or two every week(even if you cant afford it) try doing this: $1.00 on Monday night & $ 1.00 on Saturday morning & call every day on top of that.(ask who do you need to talk to & when is it best to call------then do it!!!!! WARNING!!!!!! DONT' BUG THEM AT ANY RUSH HOUR------YOU WILL LOOSE------
6. It's a + to dress great during first contact & then you can dress bathed but casual/home like after that.

Made Sandwhiches, cleaned, cashier

I liked working at this job. There were just alot of conflicts between my hours and the managers. Therefore I quit because I do not like working where there is conflict.

took orders, greet customers, answered phone, close store, cashier, and prep food

i made sandwiches, i preped food washed dishes, clened, stocked selfes

help customers, stock and inventory, handled money, create sandwiches...This was my first real job. I love to work, the experience was great!
