People always scoff at hospital food. But when our cafeteria food was reviewed by a local newspaper (an unprecendented write up in the Seattle community), I smile and shake my head at those who think we're stil gumming down jello and broth.

Swedish (First Hill) has 5 different cafes that staff and visitors can visit for lunch. Swedish (Ballard) has only 1 cafe, but offers a wide variety of food choices daily. In addition to the cafes, you may also order from the patient room-service menu, also known as A la Carte Dining. The A la Carte menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours of operation are: 24/7 on the First Hill Campus (386-DINE), 7am-8pm/7 days a week on the Ballard Campus(781-MEAL....
