How would you describe what you did at Syniverse Technologies?

Analyze daily customer file for accuracy. Work with customers to make sure all incoming data is correct and verified. If there are discrepancies, to research correct and/or convey the information to the customer to make sure their accounts are correct.

Applicable tools and languages:

IBM
mainframe 3090 running under OS/MVS
File-Aid - used in checking VSAM files for making changes and updates
MVS JCL - checking jobs that may abend. Correcting errors such as syntax or space errors.
ISPF/SDSF - for monitoring batch or submitted jobs and their output
TSG Ticketing system for tracking customer or internal problems to their resolution
Word
Excel
FTP/NDM
ESP scheduler for monitoring batch
