How would you describe what you did at TLC Supported Living Services?

Direct Care: To assist consumers in performing the functions of daily living with as much independence as possible. To guide consumers to be self-directed by teaching consumers decision making skills and encouraging independence as defined in each person's Personal Support/Habilitation Plan. To provide assistance in a manner that supports the personal dignity of the consumers.
As Team Lead, I was not only responsible for Direct Care, but also: To ensure the consumer's programs are run properly. Train other Staff as necessary. Ensure that TLC policy and procedures are followed, understand and report all offenses that are of a serious nature immediately, report any maintenance issues, and make sure that all necessary documentation is completed properly.
My duties additionally included: Ordering medications and supplies. I was responsible for the menus, grocery shopping, activity calendars, time sheets for all staff assigned to the house, van maintenance, and emergency evacuation drills. I also attended medical appointments and ISP meetings with DDD.

How would you describe what you did at TLC Supported Living Services?

Used the computer to provide funding and housing for consumers. Trained staff for the homes. I had 17 homes with 6 staff members per home. Payrole,schedules,made doctor appointments and attended the visits
