I would tell a new employee to get very close to your boss and try to know everyone on your shift team by name. It helps alot being friendly in Targets environment.

I once came in a nd worked an 8 hour shift and clocked out but never clocked in. I thought it was funny because it was around the time that I was planning my wedding and I was very forgetfull then.

Its very in depth and also to the point. I had to do two interviews and I felt like it was neccessary for them to do so to see if I was right for the job. They also do an orientation and let you meet the person thats going to be by yopur side thorughout the training period.

Oh my gosh, where do I start?! They are very team member oriented and you feel like the people ablove you actually care, the pay is wonderful, and the general job environment is great because everyone is so friendly.

I once had to investigate some team members who weren't following the bosses guidelines while she was away. I had to put a report together with names and dates of each and every incident. It was tough for me because I was trying to promote at the time and my store takes feedback from othe team members to see how you are doing in the store and I thought my reaport would seriously affect my chances of promoting....

The most challenging aspect of my job at target is dealing with disgruntled guests. In being apart of a customer service business, you will always have to deal with some unreasonable guests, I just take it one day at a time and try to put myself in the customers shoes to see it from their point of view so that I can better handle the situation....

I am responsible for ensuring that the guests recieve fast, fun, and friendly service. I am always responsible for training new team members and making sure that all shifts are covered by getting together with my team leader
