Designed and integrated mixed and native Windows Server 200x solutions, utilizing Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DFS, RAS, DHCP, RIS, Exchange 2003 and IIS. Integrated security solutions using Microsoft's Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA). Utilized VMware Workstation 5.5 for creating and running virtual machines.

Performed installation, configuration, administration and design of Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 domains in an enterprise network environment comprised of over 20 servers spread over 10 separate networks. Implemented Exchange 2000/2003 services. Installed and configured backup systems, installed and configured Active Directory Services, designed hierarchical information structures using Organizational Units, domains, and sites. Configured replication processes and schedules, designed and performed integration of Routing and Remote Access, created trust relationships, and implemented security through Group Policy Objects. Performed installation and configuration of Remote Installation Services (RIS), Windows Software Update Services (SUS), Norton Antivirus Enterprise Edition, ISA, and Checkpoint firewall software.

Installed and configured Cisco 2600 and 3600 series routers and Catalyst 1900, 3524 and 3550 switches from scratch in an enterprise network. Tasks included: console and remote configuration of Ethernet/serial interfaces, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP routing, access lists, PVCs, DLCIs, Frame Relay, PPP/CHAP authentication, Telnet sessions, and password security.
Performed administration of user accounts, administered GPOs in a structured Active Directory domain by using global/local groups, OUs and domains. Successful experience with administrating NTFS security settings, file share permissions, and user accounts. Created departmental redirected folders.

Allocated IP address schemes and subnets, and connected cables and hardware devices. Monitored and tested computer systems, configured Windows Software Update Services, manually updated and installed service packs, drivers and applications to improve computer efficiency and performance.
